About Duće

Apartments M & A Vojnović are located in the town of Duće in Golubinka district, about 1.5 kilometers west of Omiš and 18 kilometers from Split. Duće is made of several settlements with a great location between the Adriatic sea and Mosor mountain. Adorn by 5 kilometers long beautiful sand beaches, Duće is ideal place for families with small children and all fans of water sports. In the history this area was the part of the glorious Poljica Republic which was unconquerable fortress for the Turks.

Near Duće stands old Dalmatian city of Omiš with its enchanting landscape where river Cetina meets Adriatic sea. Historically, Omiš is known by piracy as many pirats ruled these parts of the Adriatic sea for more than 300 years. Many wars were led to drive notorious pirates away, the most famous would be Crusade sent by pope in Rome.
