Mirabela fortress was mostly used for reconnaissance. You can see the whole old part of the city from this fortress, Punte, Prika and Duće as well as whole Brač channel can be seen from here. In history this place was very helpful for the locals to protect themselves from enemies, and we all know how powerful were pirates from Omiš.
There is a beautiful church in Duće – Gospa od Sniga. On the 5th of August there is a big feast in Duće and local residents visit the nearby hilltop Stomorica, where the church is located. It's name was derived from a legend of miracle happening on that hill when it snowed during summertime.
The trip starts in Omiš and guests are leaving with boats towards Radmanove Mlinice. All along the river you will be experiencing direct encounter with nature being surrounded with karst hills, stunning trees and fields.
